Don't ask me why I'm still up past 3. I hate it.

ANYWAY, I totally forgot to mention this yesterday but while I was working on Friday I interacted with a guy who looked exactly like Gaspard Ulliel, except his hair was sandy brown/dirty blonde and he wasn't French. GUHHHH.

Then today, I had a mom and son come up to the cashier and the son was in his late teens, my age or a bit younger, and he looked just like Skandar Keynes. GUHHHH.

There was also a couple in their early twenties - total Hollister/American Eagle model looking... AND THEY WERE SCOTTISH. AHHHHHHHHHH I tried talking to them for as long as I could because the accents kiiiiiiiiilled me. To quote James McAvoy when he was on Craig Ferguson, I was sucked into a "Scottish vacuum of charm."

Work is fun.

I worked Friday and yesterday, and I'm working today (Sunday), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I have Thursday off but I'm going to a conference AND my friends birthday party, then I work Friday and Saturday. CRAZY, Y/Y? But it also means money. And I like that.


I wish my sleeping hours weren't so fucked though. I'll tell you more about school and ROCK BAND tomorrow/later.

AFTER MUCH SQUEEING AND SIGNS OF RESTLESSNESS ON MY FLIST, I AM NOW HOSTING MY VERY FIRST HUGE LJ-WIDE MEME. Last year, someone hosted a CHRISTMAS MUSIC SHARING meme and many many many people acquired and shared Christmastastic music and it was FUN TIMES FOR ALL. For the life of me I cannot remember who that person was (I am sorry) but I hope s/he doesn't mind that I've taken the opportunity to do this.

And since indilime and I are VERY VERY ANTSY EVEN IF THE DAY ITSELF IS OVER 50 DAYS AWAY STILL...



THE RULES ARE SIMPLE!
1) Leave a comment with links to holiday music files of your choice. Don't be shy - it can be Elvis or the Trans-Siberian Orchestra or N*SYNC. If you like it, and it's holiday music, it's welcome here. The files can be single songs, albums, whatever - just make sure you label them clearly. I think that's the what I said the last time, too.

Anyhow, I know I never "warned" people or anything, but I did an flist cut. I think I was able to eliminate nearly 30 journals. The vast majority of the journals I cut were those that hadn't been updated in over six months. Others (though there are very few) are people whose interests simply do not coincide with mine - I realised that I barely knew some of you or that we hadn't spoken in forever... or ever. No hard feelings, yeah?

So yeah. Perhaps our paths will cross again in the future. 'til then, I bid you all a fond farewell.

It's been real (for the most part). It's been fun (for the most part). It's been real fun (for the most part).

I did a flist cut. And no, in spite of what you may think, this isn't a spur of the moment thing that I've just decided to do in light of recent events. I've had a draft saved since a little bit before halloween, and it just never pushed through until tonight.

It's honestly honestly for the best. Most of the journals were semi if not completely dead, anyhow. We rarely (if at all) speak, we share little-to-no interests. We weren't "connecting," which is an unfortunate thing because I friend people with the intention of getting to know them individually. Plus, it'd spare your friends lists from being cluttered with posts you don't want to see. It'll save you that extra effort of scrolling down past my posts, having a day go from good to bad or bad to worse because of them, or create conflict.

This post is also a little alert, if you will, that you (by you I mean y'all) are absolutely free to defriend me now or whenever you wish; no hard feelings. If you think that we haven't been connecting either, or whatnot, you don't have to spare me out of awkwardness or whatnot. Just go ahead. Flists were created to connect people and have friends. So it should never be otherwise.

This post can also be considered a "letter of resignation" of sorts, from epico and good_bonesicons. I could never be more happy that many of the LJ friends I'm closest to now became my friends because of the former, but for reasons that are known to few and shouldn't be bothered by the rest, I can no longer continue giving 100% of my time to those endeavours. While I am more than grateful for all the good that has come out of both, surely you guys can understand why I have to withdraw.


If we ever cross paths once more in the future, then we will, because it's meant to happen. Until then, thanks for the good times.

I decided to remove the resources from my F-O page and let it have its own separate entry. I suppose it's just another excuse to make more tables - something I am now currently obsessed with.

Add this to memories, stare at it 'cause it's pretty...doesn't matter to me what you do with this. I was mostly doing it for my obsessive-compulsive self. =)
